- Ms. Kaley Bell - Technology Support Specialist II Hello, I work at both Shirley Hills and Hilltop elementary schools. I started with the district in the fall of 2011. I help with technology support, to make sure everything runs without much issues. I have really enjoyed my time at the elementary schools and look forward to many more years. I graduated from Augustana College with a chemistry degree and a concentration in computer science (there was no degree at the time, shows you how fast technology moves). Since then I have worked with several companies from environmental testing to shampoos, to a test facility where we were paid to break things. I was in computer training for many years, teaching intro to Windows and DOS to Advance Excel and Powerpoint, with students from age 3 to 80. Westonka has given me the opportunity to use pieces from all my previous jobs, and has been an enjoyable experience. I have two kids that are growing up too fast. One at Minnetonka High School and the other has moved out with a full time adult job. Besides my kids, I house a small zoo, one dog, one cat, one rabbit and two birds. We are an active scout family. My son has earned his Eagle and has worked at Summit, while my daughter has earned her Silver Awards and is working towards her Gold award. Kaley Bell

- My name is Brooke Berger and I’ve been teaching physical education at Hilltop since 2020. I graduated from Northern State University as a basketball student athlete in 2018.Currently, I’m earning a Master’s Degree in Physical Education at the University of Central Missouri. When I’m not teaching you can find me coaching my alma mater Whitehawks volleyball and basketball programs and participating in physical activities such as weight training, biking, paddle boarding and playing beach volleyball.

Prior to that, I taught fourth grade for four years in the Chicago area. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Mary's University. I am also a certified Orton-Gillingham Instructor.

My mission as a trauma-informed educator is to provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment that when students enter, they know they can be their authentic selves with no judgement, where they can learn, make mistakes, and know that new chances are available multiple times a day!
